CFSC (non-restricted) Firemarms Course – $275.00 + GST
Previously known as the Firearms Acquisition Course (FAC), this training is mandatory for individuals wishing to obtain non-restricted firearms must first complete the CFSC program and then apply for a Possession and Acquisition Licence (PAL).
Land Navigation (2 Day) – $650.00 + GST
Map, compass, and GPS (Global Positioning System) training includes one day of classroom and tabletop exercises followed by one day of practical field training. Content includes direction and location finding, route planning and following, declination, use of latitude/longitude and UTM grids, topographic maps, triangulation, and GPS navigation techniques. Improved leadership, self-confidence, and team interaction are collateral benefits of this course as candidates are required to work collaboratively to achieve common goals.
Marine Navigation (2 Day) – $650.00 + GST
This course covers similar principles to our Land Navigation training but shifts the focus to marine applications. The use of nautical charts and marine plotters are emphasized, enabling candidates to successfully plan and execute precise routes on the water. Boating Safety and Operations training is a recommended prerequisite for this training.
Roadside Emergencies – $450.00 + GST
Roadside Emergencies and Survival training is ideal for persons who travel in remote areas and/or during severe weather conditions by road. This program provides essential hands-on training not offered by competitors road safety programs designed for municipal areas.
Roadside Emergencies and Survival training is common to: Ice road crews, transport long haulers, government personnel driving between northern and isolated communities and industry sales representatives.

Our Class 5 driver training program to prepare for your full licence road test! This course includes a classroom and in-car training. Arctic Response Driver Training offers 3 different types of packages for the new driver depending on their experience. New drivers without driving experience can start with the Explorer Package, but should note additional hours with an instructor or with a qualified Non-GDL driver will be suggested.

This classroom training program is designed for new drivers who are preparing to take their Learners Permit test. Online training is also available!
