Overview
Canine First Aid is essential training for dog owners, big and small. Learn what is toxic and basic nutrition and dental needs. Respond to an emergency such as if your dog’s heart stops, has something lodged in their throat or if they have ingested poison. Training also includes making an Elizabethan collar and practicing with several hands-on scenarios. Candidates will receive a canine first aid manual as well as a quick-reference guide upon completion.

What to do if different poisonous plants or toxins make it into your pet’s stomach
How to stabilize many different injuries
Clearing your pet’s airway in the event of choking
How to preform CPR on a dog
How to stabilize your pet until they are able to be taken to/see by a veterinarian
