Blended Intermediate First Aid (Yellowknife)

Intermediate First Aid (formerly called “Standard First Aid”) complies with the updated NWT Occupational Health and Safety Regulations and CSA standards. Intermediate First Aid includes CPR and AED training.
The online theory portion typically takes about 4 hours to complete and includes an exam which participants must pass (minimum 80%) before attending the in-class practical training session. The user can log into and out of the course as many times as they please, each time picking up where they previously left off. Instructions and an access code will be emailed to you within in 1 business day of your registration.
Participants experiencing any symptoms of covid-19 must withdraw from or reschedule training.
o Once the access code is used to setup an online user account, the first $50 of the $175 course fee is no longer refundable, regardless of whether the participant begins or completes the online portion of this course.
o Cancellation or postponement for the practical portion of the training must be done at least three business days before the scheduled start of the course. For example, registrations for a course beginning at 9:00am on a Monday morning must be cancelled no later than 9:00am on the previous Wednesday. If a participant cancels prior to this time a refund can be given. This refund will be for the full course fee of $175 if the participant has not yet created a user account for the online portion, or $125 is the user has created a user account for the online portion. If a participant postpones prior to this time, the course fees owed or paid will transfer to the new course dates.
