Skid Control, Collision Avoidance, & Roadside Emergencies

Driving related collisions continue to be a leading source of workplace related injuries and fatalities.  Our combined Skid Control and Crash Avoidance with Roadside Emergencies program provides drivers with knowledge and improves driving skills to significantly reduce risking loss of vehicle control and collisions. This program is innovative and up-to-date, highlighting the capabilities and limitations of current and emerging  vehicle safety technologies.

This training is essential for: Ice road crews, transport long haulers, government personnel driving between northern and isolated communities, and anyone who drives on icy roads in isolated areas..

This program includes approximately 2 to 3 hours of classroom training and 5 to 6 hours of hands-on practical training.

All participants must have a valid Class 5 driver’s license with them on the day of training.  Participants are encouraged to bring the vehicle they travel in the most for the practical portion of training, though it is not required.
